About Streamlined DevelopmentStreamlined Development was established in 1998 by Laurin Killian, a computer programmer and software engineer. Laurin was previously a partner in another start-up, Veritas Systems, LLC, which provided customized programming and software development services to small business clients. Initially a part-time business, Streamlined Development became a full-time business in 2000. In 2005, Leslie Olding joined the business as the focus became more on web programming and development of website applications. Leslie has been self-employed since 1995, first as a desktop publisher, and as a web designer since 1999. Her business, PageCrafters, has now formally merged with Streamlined Development. The newly merged business can now offer a much broader range of services by drawing on the resources of both partners. Laurin Killian earned his BS from The University of Connecticut in 1990. He is a member of The Small and Home Office Association of Southeastern CT (SAHOA) and the Eastern Connecticut Linux Users Group. He has taught courses in C++, HTML, PowerBuilder, and given presentations on several other programming languages. Leslie Olding earned her BA from The University of Rhode Island in 1983, and her MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1993. She is also a member of SAHOA, and the newly formed Microenterprise Resource Group (MERG). She has given numerous training sessions on web marketing and other business topics to business owners, and counseled and mentored future business owners. |
